Tell me a little bit about yourself. Who is Jaxon Michaels?[/b]
My name is Jaxon Michaels and I am twenty one years old. I am the bassist of Stereo Obscurity. I've been playing guitar and bass for almost fifteen years now. I decided that bass was my true calling. My birthday is January 27, 1989. My parents are Doug and Miranda Michaels and I love them very much. Also I'm bisexual, and I'm open and feel great about saying it out loud. I would describe myself as a fun, outgoing guy who is a little bit of an ass and I do have to say my pride can get the better of me.
How did you get into music and playing instruments?
My mom was actually the one who gave my my first guitar on my fourth bithday. My first bass came from my dad the next year. I started on guitar first and it was a little weird switching to bass at first because they are not the same instrument. They don't sound the same, and they're not played the same way.
Could you fire off some of your statisics?
Well I'm 6 feet tall and I have this long, crazy black hair that I usually and preferably like to style, I have white skin, and I weight 178 pounds. I have chocolate brown eyes and I love color.
What inspired you and Nik Viper to form Stereo Obscurity?
Nik and I are best friends, have been since high school. We have both loved music since I can't remember when. We started to experiment what with my bass skills and his singing, it just kinda happened I guess. Later on when our manager signed us, we added the rest of the members.
What influenced your choice for a female guitarist?
Charlie is an amazing and very talented guitar player and we're very lucky to have her in the band. It was her playing and her talent that we made the decision to have a female guitarist.
Are you close to your family? Is family important to you?
Family is very important to me. My family is pretty cool all around. I'm the oldest and then my two sisters, Alexandra and Kendall are each a year apart and the youngest my little brother, Kyle, is in total 6 years younger than the rest of us.
